MERINGUE (K. Smith 1940) M. The name first selected for this iris was Cream Puff and it is very descriptive of the rounded form and coloring. The arched and half domed standards are fluted at the edge. The falls are wide, ruffled and very flaring, with slight venations of brownish apricot at the haft. Beard clear yellow. A freely flowering yellow Intermediate with strong substance and great garden value. R. 80 1940. 28 in.
