'Neon Troll' (Hooker Nichols, R. 1992). Seedling #8812B. IB, 18" (46 cm). Early thru late bloom. Standards yellow; falls deep neon yellow, sometimes edged slightly lighter; beards orange; lightly ruffled; sweet fragrance. 'Academy Awards' X 'Marmalade Skies'. Hillcrest 1993. Honorable Mention 1996.

From AIS Bulletin #289 April 1993 Introducing NEON TROLL (H. Nichols) IB 18" E-L. A rather tailored flower but a real knockout. Best described as a neon dark yellow bitone with real class! Gold beards. A fine sibling to Apollo's Touch. (Academy Awards X Marmalade Skies). $15.00. Hillcrest Iris Gardens.
