| From AIS Bulletin #285 April 1992 Introducing PAWNEE PRINCESS (Evelyn Jones) IB. Sdlg. 1£87-5. 79-29: (Peach Float x (Orange Glory x Shoop seedling)) X 385: (352: (Solar Flight x (pink IB x Blazek)) x Orange Tiger). Majolica, according to the color chart which, to us, translates to the orange-reds found in the sandstone monoliths of Arizona's and Utah's Monument Valley Tribal Park. A lovely color new to the iris world. Standards are domed and closed, their color matches that of wide, round, nearly horizontal falls where interest is added through deeper color blending around even deeper colored beards. Vigorous plants produce 21" stalks with five to seven buds. This is Evelyn's first IB introduction. You will enjoy growing it. 21" $15.00. Bennett Jones.
