From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing PERKY PLIK (Weiler '78). 70-98. IB, 51 em. (21"), E. This delightful little flower with starchy white ground and sharply delimited blue-violet plicata markings is very well proportioned. Broadly domed standards and crisply flaring falls give this one a "perky" look. Stalks are thin but sturdy and bear two or three branches, often opening three wellspaced flowers at the same time, making it good for both the garden and the show bench. This is a rapid grower with healthy foliage in good scale with the stalks and flowers. EC 1977. Plicadee X (((Snow Flurry x ((Theodolinda x Minnie Colquitt) x Blue Shimmer)) x Dotted Swiss) x Rococo). $10.00. Rialto Gardens. |
