'Pink Empress' (Cleo Palmer, R. 1989). Seedling #8571. IB, 22" (56 cm), Early bloom. Ruffled pink, light orange shoulders, white area at tip of beard veined pink; red beard. 'Mlle. Modiste' X seedling #8102: ('Miss Oklahoma' x ('Dove Wings' x (('Wilma V' x unknown) x 'Little Titan'))). Palmer's Iris 1990. Honorable Mention 1992.

From AIS Bulletin #277 April 1990 Introducing PINK EMPRESS-IB, 22", E. Ruffled medium pink self with light orange shoulders and white area at tip of beards veined pink. Pale red beards. Wide, round, horizontally flaring, sweet fragrance. Mlle. Modiste X (Miss Oklahoma x (Dove Wings x ((Wilma V x unknown) x Little Titan))). $12.50. Palmer's Iris Garden.
