1934, Sass

'Red Orchid' (Jacob Sass, R. 1933) IB. Early bloom. Color Class-R7D. Dark velvety red self with gold beard. The standards and falls seem to be the same color. (red pumila x unknown) X dark red TB seedling. Honorable Mention 1936.
