'Ruby Chimes' (Alta Brown, R. 1971). Seedling #M1490-5. IB, 21" (53 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards dark maroon red-black; falls. dark maroon red-black with velvety finish; maroon-red beard. 'Jewel Tone' X 'Cherry Garden'. Brown's Iris Garden 1972. Honorable Mention 1973.
