'Shooting Sparks' (Paul Black, R. 1988). Seedling #85458A. IB, 28" (71 cm), Early bloom. White ground with purple plicata markings around edge of standards and falls; white beard tipped lavender; slight spicy fragrance. Seedling #83303AA: ('Focus' x 'Magic Candle') X 'Chubby Cheeks' sibling. Mid-America Gardens 1989.  Exhibition Certificate 1986; Honorable Mention 1991.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 1989: SHOOTING SPARKS - IB, 28" (71cm), Early. A beautifully proportioned IB that is white with purple plicata mark sparks. Flowers are dainty and crisp and clumps are loaded with bloom stalks. You'll think it has bloomed out but there is plenty of increase left for next years show. Sdlg. 85458A: 83303A A: ( Flamenco X Magic Candle) X Chubby Cheeks sib. $15.00.
Note: Parentage change by hybridizer: From Tb Flamenco to Tb Focus. "The Pol parent is Chubby Cheeks' sibling 824G. Parentage of pod parent 83303AA should be Focus X Magic Candle.
