1980, Nichols

'Special Endeavor' (Hooker Nichols, R. 1978). Seedling #5. IB, 18" (46 cm), Early to late bloom. Ruffled and fluted grey-blue with cinnamon plic markings on hafts, violet wash below orange-blue beard. 'Vaudeville' X Warburton seedling #134N-3: (('Blue Denim' x (blue pumila x 'Spanish Peaks')) x ('Blue Denim' x 'Knotty Pine')). Nichols 1980. Honorable Mention 1983.
