1933, Sass

'Susa'. (Hans Peter Sass, 1933). IB, Height 24" (60 cm), Early bloom. Color Class-R9D; Dark red bitone. Honorable Mention 1936.

Note: Sass 1934 describes as "Velvety red purple self. 24" stem". 2n=43. ( I. pumila X 'Amas'). (probably Iris lutescens Lamarck X Iris germanica (Amas)).
