From Schreiner’s catalog, 1964: TAMINO (Schreiner 1964) Very early. 22". A most outstanding new intermediate iris; see page 50 for others of like bloom period. This advances the blue spot or thumbprint on the fall of the flower, with a remarkable sunburst of yellow on the haft and beard. Larger and fuller than CUTIE, it continues the advancement in this field. From the same pod parent as gave CUTIE & DRUMMER BOY crossed with a special X-rayed seedling of Mr. Schortman's. Maybe this is why this plant is so extra. $10.00.
