Template To Record Your HIPS Database

A possible template for HIPS members to record their historic irises. While we show step by step instructions for making a copy below, a faster way is with this link. Then change the "To topic" name to something new and you are ready to add cultivars as desired. For editing the table, you will need to create an account if you don't already have one and login.

Step by Step instructions: To make a copy for yourself on the Iris Encyclopedia, click on the "More topic actions" at the bottom of this page and then choose "Copy topic" from the page showing your options. Then change the "To topic" name to something new and you are ready to add cultivars as desired.

You can see an example using this at HIPS2016Messer which also suggests some additional possibilities.

You can find contact information for submitting your list here on the HIPS website.

Notes: All pages in the Sandbox portion of the Iris Encyclopedia are public (viewable by anyone) and can be edited by any registered user. You can easily revert any changes by you or others to earlier versions. Consider both of these characteristics before deciding if this would be useful for you.
