■(JI) 'Banjo Blues'

2005, Bauer/Coble

'Banjo Blues' (Bob Bauer and John Coble, R. 2005). Seedling J99A-5. JI (6 falls), 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Style arms very blue, light blue crests veined blue, multiple, upright; falls wide white veined blue, yellow signal. 'Crested Surf' X 'Sing The Blues'. Ensata 2005. Honorable Mention 2008. See below:

From Mt. Pleasant Iris Farm catalog 2018: Banjo Blues (Bauer/Coble '05) 34", M. 6F, white veined blue, multiple styles are dark blue with white crests, 1-2 branches, 3-5 buds. $10.00.
