From Flowerfield Bulb Farms catalog 1946: BLUE GIANT. This lovely variety is one of the largest Iris. The single petals measure nine inches across and its soft deep blue color makes it as beautiful as it is large. The back cover pictures Blue Giant in color. Perfect for mass planting, particularly enchanting when planted with Madonna Lilies Each 50c, Doz. S5.00.
