'Centenary' (Currier McEwen, R. 2001). Seedling T(6)J89/65(3). JI (3 F. tet.), 29" (74 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards red purple (redder than RHS 83B, darker than 77A); style arms same, less velvety; falls vivid red purple, more velvety, small yellow signal. Seedling T(5)J83/99(3): (seedling T(4)J80/63(4): (involving 'Garden Caprice' and seed from Dr. Shu x 'Pink Triumph') x seedling T(4)J80/97(2): ((involving 'Garden Caprice', 'Frostbound') x (involving "Ogena", "Shinkino", and Hirao seed))) X seedling T(1)J85/110B: (J82/reddest, unknown, x 'Muffled Drums').
