1964, Payne

'Dancing Waves' (W. Arlie Payne, R. 1962) Seedling 787. JI Double, 42" (107 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Blending from dark violet center to mulberry-purple; dark violet halo and veins; narrow white edging. 'Warai-hotei' X ('Otomene' x 'Mahogany') x 'Rishono' x (('Ai-fukurin' x 'Kongo-san') x 'Iso-no-nami')). Payne 1964. Honorable Mention 1966, Payne Award 1968.
