2000, White

'Dirigo Red Rocket' (John White, R. 2000). 40" (107 cm), Early to late bloom. Standards medium red violet, small; style arms white, edged medium red violet; Falls medium red violet rayed white, small yellow signal surrounded by white blaze. Seedling 94JS-W6-4: (seedling 91G-R6-21: ('Hanadayu' x 'Southern Son') x seedling 92C-A1-6: ('Dirigo Delight' x Aitken seedling 86J-1-4: ('Ruby Star' x 'Asian Warrior'))) X seedling 94JS-W6-2, sibling. Pope's Perennials 2001. Honorable Mention 2004; Award of Merit 2006.
