'Enchanted Lake' (W. Arlie Payne, R. 1952) JI, 35" (89 cm). Early bloom. Standards Cotinga purple (Ridgway, a red-purple); Falls pallid violet to dark violet. (Seedling 101: 'Ganymede' x 'Osamaru-Miyo') X (seedling 87: 'Ai-fukurin' x 'Ruby Giant'). Payne 1952. Honorable Mention 1960

| From Tempo Two AU catalog, 1974: ENCHANTED LAKE (Payne USA) 35" Double-Late. One of the last to bloom in late December. Huge 8" blooms on strong stems. Color is cotinga purple to royal purple. Rich gold signals. Wide overlapping petals, very ruffled. HM '60. |
