From Marx Gardens catalog, 1955: FLYING KITE $7.50 This beautiful new white iris differs much from our earlier introductions, Great White Heron and Snowy Hills. The fully double, smooth horizontal blooms are not ruffled, and will appeal to those who prefer the formal flat type of Japanese Iris. Very tall stiff 4-foot stems. Midseason.
