From Flowerfield Bulb Farms catalog 1955: GOLD BOUND. A disc-like flower of pure white. The standards and falls are alike in size and vividly marked with golden signal patches. Styles are white, small and flat to the crown. Flowers measure about 5 inches across. Height 24 inches. Midseason bloom. Desirable for the foreground of the border. Each $1.00, Three $2.75.
