'Japanese Sandman' (George Bush, R. 1979) Sdlg. 935-12. JI, 36" (91 cm), Midseason late bloom. White ground, veined and washed violet; violet stylearms, edged white; lemon yellow signals. Source of seed: George Park. Unknown parentage. Bush 1980. Honorable Mention 1982.

White ground with violet wash and veining glowing over the wide, semi-pendent petals. Lemon spears accent the dreamy beauty of this noble flower. Violet styles are edged white.
