'Kyomai' Yoshio Mitsuda by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (3 Falls), 32" (81 cm), Very early to early midseason bloom. Standards red violet (RHS 79C) edged silver white; style arms white with cream center, red violet crests; Falls heavily sanded red violet (80A) with appearance of white veins and silver white edge, yellow signal tinted green; ruffled. Parentage unknown. Mitsuda prior to 1985. Also known as "Kyou-Mai".
