■(JI) 'Lion King'

1996, Bauer/Coble

'Lion King' (Bob Bauer and John Coble, R. 1996). Seedling J89U-5. JI (9 falls), height 40" (107 cm), Mid bloomseason. Ruffled, rose (RHS 77A) edge with wide white center, white veining to near edge, hidden yellow signal; style arms white, multiple and upright, crests tipped violet. 'Frosted Pyramid' X 'Frilled Enchantment'. Ensata Gardens 1996. Honorable Mention 1999, Award of Merit 2001; Payne Medal 2003.
