From Marx Gardens catalog, 1962: MAMMOTH MARVEL (Marx 1959) Each $3.00 One of, if not the largest, Marhigos we have introduced to date. Color pattern is white with uniform medium blue veining. Styles are blue edged in white. The lightly ruffled flowers will measure 11 inches across on well grown established plants. A seedling of Osmaru-Miyo, but larger and taller on 4-1/2-foot stems. Branched stems produce 4 to 6 flowers each. Early to midseason.
