'Matsuzaka Tsukasa' (
Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1994) JI (3 Falls), 27" (70 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, edged red violet; style arms white, red violet on crests; Falls red violet, large white veins. Parentage unknown. Old Edo variety from Meijci period (1869-1912).

Standards white, banded red-violet (RHS 77A); style arms white, white lightly edged red-violet crests, very toothed/feathered; falls deep red-violet, white rays, bright gold-yellow signal, strong raised central line; Ise style, pendant form, crepe texture, 2n=25 aneuploid. Parentage unknown. Unknown in Japan, before 1940.
