, R. 1994) JI (9 F.), 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom. Pale violet (RHS 85D) ground with deep purple (89C) veins, yellow signals; stigmas normal, but anthers converted to 3 inner petals with no pollen. Old Edo variety; parentage and hybridizer unknown. Introduced in Japan prior to 1930.
