'Saru Odori' (Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (3 F.), 32" (80 cm), E S. rosy violet with white veins; style arms and crests white, edged rosy violet; F. rosy violet, very pale edge, small white veins, yellow signal. (Incorrectly shown as obsolete in 1939 Check List.). Parentage unknown. Introduced in Japan prior to 1920.
