'Taiko' (Shuichi Hirao by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1992) JI (6 Falls), 27" (70 cm), Late bloom. Ruffled red purple, bold white center and veins, signal yellow; style arms white, edged red purple. Parentage unknown. Hirao 1960.
