'Wine Ruffles' (William Ackerman, R. 1981) Sdlg. A-3(4-1). JI (6 F. diploid), 37" (94 cm), Midseason bloom. Fluted and ruffled royal purple (RHS 77A) blending to plum purple (79A). yellow (13A) signal; purple (77C) style arms, edged royal purple (77A). PD-345 X PD 126. Bush 1985. Honorable Mention 1987.
