1937, Nesmith 'Woodrose' ( Elizabeth Nesmith, R. 1937) JI. Midseason bloom. Single. Color Class-5RL. From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1942: WOODROSE (Nesmith 1937) Sgl. Large falls of pinkish mauve frosted with iridescent blue. Purple lines radiating from blue halo which surrounds a large yellow signal. Standards are pink, and the styles deep rose-purple.
