Bernard Pryor, R. 2001). Seedling 62/96-J. LA, 36" (91 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards violet, rim white; style arms white, violet tip; falls darker violet, white rim and reverse, bright yellow blotch signal with raised golden steeple; ruffled.

Reason for name: Bethany Sheahan (daughter of my friend Teresa Sheahan, of Gundagai NSW) died of cancer aged 8 years old. This iris was named for her. All rhizomes were donated to the Gundagai Primary School, where they grow in the school grounds as a memory of Bethany. H Pryor 27 April, 2020.
