From Sidney Conger Louisiana Iris catalog, 1952: HELEN SMITH. (Arceneaux, '47). C.C., A.I.S.,'49, S.L.I. Show Winner, '51. The Arceneaux yellows have attracted attention for several years. This is one of the best whose popularity is rising. The 5" lemon yellow flowers of flat, flaring form are one of the first to appear in this iris group. It blooms on 30" to 36" stems. $2.00.
