1998, Pryor

'Hot And Spicy' (Heather Pryor, R. 1995). Seedling 60/90-64. LA, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly ruffled tomato red (RHS 34B) with fine yellow rim, lemon reverse; raised yellow steeple signal surrounded by yellow dagger signal; style arms bright green, tipped yellow. Occasionally polys. 'Gladiator's Gift' X 'Desert Jewel'. Lone Star 1997, Iris Haven, 1997/98.

Awards: AIS Honorable Mention 2000; AIS Award of Merit 2002; AIS DeBaillon Medal 2004. HC 1994 (NSW Regional Trial Garden), HM 1996 (NSW Regional Trial garden) NSW Region of the ISA (Iris Society of Australia)
