'Jazz Hot' (Heather Pryor, R. 1994) Seedling 60/90-8. LA, 35" (89 cm), Late midseason bloom. Smoky red (RHS 181A) edged white, bright yellow raised steeple signal on all petals, pale yellow reverse; style arms green, yellow center rib and smoky red tips. 'Gladiator's Gift' X 'Desert Jewel'. Lone Star, Iris Haven 1997, 1997/98.
Awards: AIS Honorable Mention 2000; AIS Award of Merit 2004. Runner-up Mary Swords Debaillon Medal 2006, 2007 and 2008. HC 1996 (NSW Regional trial garden), HM 1997 (NSW Regional trial garden). NSW Region of the ISA (Iris Society of Australia).
