From Sidney Conger Louisiana Iris catalog, 1951: PALE HANDS. (Reg.1950). "Pale Hands I love beside the Shalimar ... ". A favorite with those who like delicate shades. The large 7-inch flowers are slightly ruffled at the edge. Though large, it has grace, a delicate air about it. The color chart says that it's geisha, but the effect is a much lighter and warmer pink, especially in the sun. 36 inches. Early to mid-season. $10.00.
