From Sidney Conger Louisiana Iris catalog, 1951: ROSE OF ABBEVILLE. (Reg. 1949) H.C. 1950. A result of Old Coral X Peggy Mac. The large 6-inch flowers are quite ruffled and creped. The form is flat with broad overlapping segments. The color is soft rose. Here is the first iris of Abbeville form with a triangular signal patch. Height 30 inches. $10.00. |
