'Squidlee' ( M. D. Faith, R. 2004). Seedling S22A. LA, 42" (107 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards purple violet (RHS 82B) fading to silvery white; style arms and Falls purple violet (76C), lighter toward edges, prominent gold steeple signal; ruffled, open form. 'Cajun Belle' X Rowlan seedling. Faith 2004.

Hybridizer's Comment: Strong grower up to 42 inches with blue-green foliage, six buds, more if well grown; Distinctive flower of flat open form, some ruffling; Standards open light purple violet (RHS 82B) fading to near white quickly; Falls are a darker purple violet (RHS 76C) and do not fade; prominent gold steeple signal extending down the midrib of the falls; an intriguing iris.
