Hybridizer Dr. George Percy Brown (1888-1971¹)

Dr. George Percy Brown was a medical doctor, graduating from Harvard Medical School about 1919. Dr. Brown received the American Iris Society Hybridizer Award in 1971 for his work with reblooming irises. He started his work with irises in 1929. The Intermediate 'Autumn Elf' registered in 1934 formed the foundation for his cold climate reblooming iris.
