Hybridizer Robert (1848-1934) Farquhar & J. Farquhar
Boston, Massachusetts. R. & J. Farquhar founded by Robert Farquhar who came to the United States from Scotland about 1865. The firm introduced many of the Chinese plants discovered by E. H. Wilson. Extensive growers of Japanese Iris. Ceased business 1935.
