Hybridizer René Gombault (1871-1971)
France - Hayange (Moselle) René Gombault was a French botanist and mountaineer. Having spent his entire career at the Customs, he explored Bayonne (1911) and Cambo (1919) to discover the Pyrenees. Author of several works on archeology and prehistory Pyrenees, published in the "Bulletin de la Sociéte des Sciences, Lettres, Arts de Bayonne", between 1914 and 1970. Species:- 1966 'Cæruleo-Violacea'.
