McMillen’s Iris Gardens (Norwich, Ont., Route 1, R.R.1) opened in June of 1973 (CIS-N v.38 n.2 p18 4-1993) when the McMillens purchased the iris stock of Bruce Richardson and issued the first catalogue in the spring of 1974. (CIS-N v21 n2 p52) [1]. John, Gloria and Dan continued to operate the Gardens until 2014. John McMillen, a former owner of McMillen’s Iris Gardens in Norwich, began making his crosses in 2005. His 2013 registrants were introduced by Trail’s End Iris Garden, Brantford. (Researched by Don McQueen)
