Hybridizer Dr. Otto Stapf (1857-1933)
Kew, England. Born in Austria. Keeper of the Herbarium and Library at Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, 1909-1921. He received the Victoria Medal of Honour in 1927 and Veitch Memorial medal in 1931.
