Cynthia St. Charles Garden

Cynthia has created a densely planted cottage garden focused on companion planting with a staggered lengthy bloom schedule – combining hardy perennials and drought tolerant annuals. No Dig /No Till Lasagna garden construction has been used to build new flower beds directly on top of sod by layering compost over cardboard. All classes of bearded iris are grown with a special interest in Historic, Arilbred and Miniature Tall Bearded.

The Cynthia St. Charles Garden was the 2025 Gerald Richardson Award Winner for the best integrated privately maintained planting at an AIS Convention.
