The Historic Iris Preservation Society (HIPS)

The Historic Iris Preservation Society (HIPS) is a section of The American Iris Society devoted to growing and studying Historic Irises

It was started as a working group of individuals interested in the older irises organized by Carolee Clay, in 19XX. It organized itself into an AIS section in 19XX and started publishing the bulletin "Roots". The website for HIPS is at: http://www.hips-roots.com/
