Gladiolus Stalk
Sometimes a fault can be an asset when carried to an extreme. An iris which does not develop its branches but they remain as short spurs can produce the same effect as a Gladiolus stalk. The public likes Gladioulus and often likes these "defective" Irises. So far the only such tall-bearded noted is 'Cross Examined'
