Novelty Iris Society

Breaking News! The organization of a Novelty Iris Section has just begun. You can become a founding Member!

History: At the AIS 2013 Dallas Convention Bonnie Nichols gave a judges training on Novelty Irises. It was so well received Don Rude asked Bonnie if a section for this group could be formed and a meeting was scheduled for the 2014 Dallas Convention. As of this writing 2 weeks after convention discussions are ongoing as to dues and other matters.

  • We are making crosses like mad on space age, flatties. Hooker has a new white flattie was are calling 'Top Down'. Probably a good 9” across. Sure is pretty and consistent. We are also seeing some broken colors from our 'Splitter Splatter' seedlings which are exciting. Placing my iris orders this week.--Bonnie by way of RP
