1965, Brown

'April Rose' (Alta Brown, R. 1964). Seedling #D 368-8. MDB, height 5" (13 cm). Very early bloom. Standards rose-purple; falls rose-red, lighter edges; lavender-blue beards. 'Garnet Treasure' X 'Cretica' seedling. Brown's Iris Gardens 1965. Honorable Mention 1966.
