1985, Varner
'Bantam' (Steve Varner, R. 1984). Seedling #3052. MDB, height 6" (15 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards purplish red; cream-green styles, midribs same as standards; falls red-purple, deeper near brown beards; ruffled. Greenlee seedling #648 (red SDB) X self. Illini Iris 1985. Honorable Mention 1987; Award of Merit 1992.
