'Fannie R' (Irene Van de Water, R. 1960). Seedling #V-2. MDB, height 7" (18 cm). Early bloom.. Powder blue self; purple spots on falls; white beards. 'Icicle' X a blue pumila (embryo cultured). Old Brook 1964.

From Old Brook Gardens catalog, 1964: FANNIE R (Van de Water '64) VE 7". A powder blue self with a distinct oncolike purple spot on the falls. It has a contrasting white beard which appears above slight haftmarkings of brown. A real cutie. (Icicle X blue pumila). Net $5.00.
