1996, Kasperek

'Gnuz Spread' (Brad Kasperek, R. 1996). Seedling #92R-29S. MDB, height 7" (18 cm). Midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards creamy butter yellow (RHS 13D); falls white (155A) overlaid butter yellow (14D) in center, edges paling to match standards; beards light orange, white at ends, white ridges flattening into falls. 'Baby Boom' X 'Footlights'. Zebra Gardens 1996. Honorable Mention 1998; Award of Merit 2000.

From AIS Bulletin #301 April 1996 Introducing GNUZ SPREAD (Kasperek '96) MDB M & RE 7" Zone 5 rebloomer! Creamy whipped butter standards. Falls have butter yellow spot with whipped butter edges. Light orange beards end in a white ridge which flattens and fades into the center of fall. 2-3 buds. (Perfect form, substance light, but durable). Baby Boom X Footlights (92R-29S).
